Knitting Challenge is an Initiative which was established by the Patron Her Royal Highness Inkhosikati Make LaNgangaza in 2015. The mandate of the project is to provide warm clothes to People with Life Limiting and Life Threatening Conditions and their families through knitting. Companies and Individuals usually donates wool to Hospice and people with knitting skills are given the wool to make clothes, shoes, socks and many things which are of use to the clients. The Patron in return appreciates all parties involved by presenting them with Appreciation Certificates during an even doubled as “World Hospice and Palliative Care Day and Family Fun Day”. Companies, Organizations, Institutions and Individuals are encouraged to support the initiative.
A Project which was officially launched on the 7th December 2020 at ka-Bhekinkhosi under Kukhanyeni Inkhundla under Manzini Region. The project is aimed at improving quality of life and minimising burden from the client whom most of them were bread winners. The project has more than three hectors to plough for the beneficiaries. The organization is planning to have land in all the four regions for farming so that the regional Nurses find vegetables close to their clients. The Organization would be delighted to have enough land for grazing, especially maize in order to have enough mealie meal. Companies and institutions are encouraged to kindly assist on the drip irrigation system which will be used for irrigation purposes. Meanwhile, the Organization supports more than 1508 beneficiaries in more than 250 Homesteads in all the four Regions.
